Influenced by Pharoah Sanders Greeting to Saud, they prioritized simplicity over virtuosity. The album was completed at 64 Sound Studios in Los Angeles with contributions from Logan Hone (flutes, sax), Elizabeth Lea (trombone), Will Logan (drums), and David Leach (percussion).
