antique leather unusual 1920s Egyptian revival strap or hip belt with decorative cabochons snakeskin heels Hand washed and then steamedUnusual decorative leather strap or belt? with fancy gilt metal hardware decorated with glass cabochons. I believe the cabochons are probably Gablonz or at least European in the Egyptian revival style a stylised hieroglyphic design. I have added a gilt metal double buckle which will work as a fastener. I havent liked to permanently fix it by pinching the loops, in case you want to use it as a strap. Im really not sure what it was used for originally!
