Stone Alliance, Jan Hammer/Germany 1980 Historical Activities 30Years of Films & Videos NY February 21st 1997A legendary live performance by the phantom Stone Alliance, also known as the secret Weather Report, led by percussion master Don Alias! ! The amazing performance at the Berlin Jazz Festival on November 2, 1980 is recorded with perfect sound quality and a stereo soundboard. Gene Parra is on bass, Kenny Kirkland is on keyboards, Bob Mintzer is on saxophone instead of Steve Grossman, and Jan Hammer co stars on most of the songs. This is delicious! !
