Miari Jaya 58 GPS 10071  Family: Apocynaceae (Asclepidaceae)

Probably my favorite of all Mammillarias

'Fred' A good sized plant of this cute and weird monstrose form of an otherwise normal cactus

The stems are bluer in high light

It is notable in turning a beautiful reddish to purple color during the cooler months or under times of stress

Astrophytum myriostigma 'Fukuryu' (D) Caudiciform Miari Jaya 58 GPS 10071Astrophytum myriostigma 'Fukuryu' A strange but beautiful Japanese cultivar of the Bishop's Cap cactus. Easy to grow, just give normal cactus care, though this cultivar is a little more rot prone than the normal species so take care not to overwater, especially in winter. Protect
