Whittet Higgins RTDM-13 Rethreading Die Ball Bearing Featuring an extra-long armThe Whittet Higgins RTDM 13 is a metric rethreading die used to clean, repair, and reform damaged external shaft threads. Its ground threads precisely chase the shaft, efficiently removing old anaerobic locking compounds and particulate while correcting minor thread deformations to restore proper fit. The hexagonal body is driven with readily available shop wrenches (adjustable, chain, strap, etc.), and the die is machined from case hardened carbon
