Unlike the damascones, ethyl safranate is not heavily restricted by the IFRA and therefore very useful to supplement or bridge them in compositions. Apple and rose compositions will benefit in particular from ethyl safranate, however it's fairly easy to use in many contexts and can be used in many ways to great
