Whittet Higgins BM-15 Bearhug Retaining Nut tension bolts multi-functional digital tachometerThe Whittet Higgins BM 15 Bearhug is a metric, prevailing torque self locking bearing locknut used to secure and preload bearings, sleeves, and other components on a threaded shaft. An integral heat stabilized polymer locking ring grips the shaft threads to resist loosening from vibration, shock, and torque, eliminating the separate lockwasher required by a traditional locknut and lockwasher assembly.
