Jorma Kaukonen should be regarded alongside George Harrison and Tom Verlaine, and here he's absolutely astounding, squirting all over the place with a sense of psychedelic melody that leaves many so called "guitar heroes" for dead. Grace Slick was possibly the weirdest songwriter of the era.
